fun and entertaining and everything you’d expect from a creature thriller! more surprisingly though, it also touched on the insecurities of girlhood and imperfect friendships and straddling that precarious thin line between self-preservation and sacrifice and effectively made me care about the lives of its humans (besides gavin casalegno of course who appears to have typecast himself as the pathetic chud in every universe)
